Sales stable at USD 55.5 million – EBIT USD 4.7 million and net income USD 3.8 million

Datacolor AG’s net sales (consolidated in USD) in fiscal 2010/11 were stable at USD 55.5 million (FY 2009/10: USD 56.1 million). In order to accelerate the pace of the development of new products and increase the number of market launches, Datacolor raised R&D expenditure in fiscal 2010/11 by approximately one third compared with the previous year. The result was also impacted by additional, non-recurring personnel costs in connection with the tightening of the organization. EBITDA amounted to USD 6.0 million (USD 6.4 million), EBIT to USD 4.7 million (USD 5.1 million) and net income to USD 3.8 million (USD 4.4 million). The EBITDA margin was 10.7% (11.4%) and the EBIT margin 8.5% (9.1%). Datacolor has a substantial net cash position of USD 23 million and a comfortable equity ratio of 60% (September 30, 2010: 57%).
